Internet Citizenship

I strive throughout the teaching/ learning process to promote and model digital citizenship and responsibility. This can include including respecting copyright, intellectual property, and avoiding plagiarism by the using the appropriate documentation of sources. This also extends to the teachers understanding of local and global societal issues and responsibilities in an ever changing digital culture as well as demonstrating legal and ethical behavior in their professional practices.

d. Develop and model cultural understanding and global awareness by engaging with colleagues and students of other cultures using digital age
communication and collaboration tools.

This was a collaborative group project using a permade scenario and applying constructivist teaching methods in order to help the  teacher in the scenario use her technology in the best manner for active learning. Some of the techniques we suggested were to use the television channel to learn about current events in the news. Using the laptops to have conversations through skype with other students from different cultures and using tablets for creating mand maps and doing research.

Throughout this course we had to write in our reflection journal and then in a later discussion our class talked about our ideas about learning-centered online teaching.

Flipping Your Classroom. ITEC-50093-008-201560

For this assignment, I had to create a mastery model for a Flipped classroom format and create a class and it's model. As a final project, I had to creat an instructional video related to the online Flipped classroom I had created.
